Namaste - the divine light in me sees and acknowledges the divine light in you.
Gesturing Namaste communicates the belief that there is a special divinity within each of us. At the end of yoga practice, the teacher shares Namaste in acknowledgment of the soul in one by the soul in another.
For Namaste, place the hands together at the heart chakra (in front of the chest), close the eyes, and bow the head.
Say "Namaste" out loud to bring intention into reality.
Bowing the head and closing the eyes allows the mind surrender to the heart.
